Spatial Phenomena and the Mysteries of Creation

Series of very small drawings, showing black holes, galaxies, comets and other space phenomena, produced in the laboratory using photolithographic techniques and thin films deposition in a clean chamber. By placing extremely vast phenomena on a very small scale there is the intention of not only to play with an idea of infinity, but also the fact that the diminutive size of the drawings forces the observer to resort to the use of a microscope in order to visualize them, raising reflections on the role of techno-scientific devices in the mediation of the real and the way in which they may influence our perception of ourselves and the universe.
